In Memory

Donna Welker (Glauser) - Class of 1955

Printed words cannot begin to capture the soul of a woman who has gladly left this sorrowful life behind to stand next to, and to be one with, the man she loved.

Donna Arline Welker Glauser, 80, threw off the chains of rheumatoid arthritis and many other failings of her body and ran - yes, ran! - into the arms of her Wayne, her joy and mate.

To those who know her, we remember her unfailing ability to love, to care, to give of her own power so that you might have hope. To those who don't know her, you would do well to seek her out in the realms of space and time, for you will find wisdom and beauty and a heart to calm your fears and misgivings about yourself. If there are indeed Goddesses, then the heavens have reclaimed one of their most cherished.

Her children, Steve, Matt and Gina, and her grandsons Jake and Nick, will miss her beyond comfort, but we are joyous that at last, she can dance again. Her many dear relatives and friends share this grief.

All is not lost, but with her departure, it feels darker and more lonely. Godspeed, dear Momma, dear friend, dear grandmother, sister and aunt. We will listen for your voice in the wind, and look for you waltzing atop the Milky Way.

But first, rest - and embrace peace.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 14th 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy (10600 S). Viewing from 9:30-10:45 prior to the service. Interment Montpelier, Idaho.

Jo Ann Stephens (Farnsworth) (1955)

All the 1955 classmates from the Montpelier area that went to school with Donna Welker Glauser are feeling very bad that we did not know about her death.  We wanted to go to the Montpelier Cemetry.  Some memories of Donna was how she liked to dance around the house, so when she got married I gave her a dancing figurine.  One time several of the group called the big five were at a party at her house playing the wigi (how to spell it?) board game when suddenly all the Christmas cards that were standing up on the mantel blew down and it scared us all thinking it was a spirit, ghost or something.

Good bye Donna we love you.
