I worked as a secretary and office manager until the death of my husband in 1976. I then went to BSU to get my degree in Elementary Education. I taught kindergarten for three years and then went to work for the state of Idaho in the Tax Commission department. After my retirement, I wrote two family books and have worked as a volunteer at the Family History Center in Nampa, ID for the past 16 years. I am a shift leader on two shifts there, handle the films and fiche that come into the Center and am a buyer of some of the office supplies that we use. I have also taught genealogy classes at regional and local genealogy conferences.

School Story

I loved the night that the bond passed for the new gym building. The kids all celebrated and honked and yelled in front of the house belonging to the person who had fought long and hard to keep that bond from passing.

Glad to hear you are still around, Cuz! I lost track of you many years ago and often wondered what had happened to you. I have talked to other members of your family, but at that time you were still in Florida. Hope all continues to be well with you.
