Joshua was born in Montpelier, Idaho on Aug. 9,1987. He passed away in Salt Lake City on Aug. 21, 2016 after a long life battle with Myotonic Dystrophy to join his Heavenly Father.

Josh loved everything about life especially camping, four wheeling, and riding his John Deer lawn mower through Paris. Josh enjoyed playing video games, making puzzles and watching movies. Some of Josh's greatest memories where going to Salt lake City, visiting the Hogle Zoo, Aquarium, and Hill Air Force Base Museum.

Josh started Elementary school in Paris, ID and graduated from Bear lake High School in 2007. Josh didn't go on to do exciting things in life but put a smile on everyones face he meets. His heart was as big as the sky, and his smile could make the worst day better. 

Joshua Max Michel is survived by his father Jeffrey Kent Michel, step-mother Athena Michel, Mother, Annette Michel, Max James (Eve) Nield, David LaMar Nield, Aunts, Cindy (Rocky) Michaelson, Kathy Culp .

Brother Todd (Cassie) Michel, two nieces, 1 nephew. Also survived by his maternal grandmother Marian Nield and paternal grandparents, Kent and Mary Michel, Uncle Brad (Shannon) Michel and their nine children, Darren (Fawn) Michel and their two children. Step brothers and sisters, Jessica (Paul) Kovack, Mary Nomikos, Anna (Stephen) Heptworth, Tiffany (Karl) Parker, Michelle (Terance Mestez) Trosky, Micheal Trosky and Victoria Reid and several nieces and nephews.
