In Memory

Micah John Christopher Petterson - Class of 2002

Micah, also known as Maverik, was sent home to the Lord on May 9, 2018 at 34 years of age. He was born in Ogden, Utah September 13, 1983. He passed away in Royse City, Texas, where he resided.

Micah enjoyed watching UFC and Bill O’Rielly and was a huge movie buff. He loved listening to music and audiobooks, as well as spending time with his family, friends, and pets. He was always up for adventures and anything spontaneous. He loved the mountains and oceans, and was a Viking Conquistador at heart. Micah was very social and loved communicating with those around him. He loved debating and sharing knowledge. Learning new things from other people was very intriguing to him. Micah was truly charitable and was always giving back to the community. As a devout Christian, he showed his love for others profoundly just as Jesus Christ did. He was an animal lover and had many pets, Blanco, Samson, Kiera, Nicodemus, Gypsy, Leema, all his fishies, and Merle the crab.

Micah graduated Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in science/psychology. He was employed by the Lennox Corporation as the manager of his own store in South Lake, Texas.

His parents are Christopher Petterson, (Christie Petterson), Lisa Arensbach (Steven Arensbach), and Shane Parker (Kay Parker). He is survived by his wife, Tammi Louann Petterson; his children Mayson Fassnacht, Maiya Fassnacht, Cidni Fassnacht, and Wyatt Snyder; his granddaughter, Eden Fassnacht; his brothers, Jerry Howell, Mike Sprouse, Nathan Jetty, Christopher Petterson, Josiah Smith, and Flint Parker; his sisters, Kyrie Williams, Shasta Critchlow, Misty Mckay, Billie Rigby, and Jenny Isom; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved brother Stevie Sprouse. He also had many friends that were near and dear to his heart, namely, Gary (G-Money) James and wife Jennifer, Chris (V.I.P.), Reihl and his wife Christie, Brandon Westgaar, Bruce Claver, and all of his colleagues from Lennox Corporation.

When God was making husbands, as far as I can see, He made a special soulmate, especially for me,

He made a perfect gentleman, compassionate and kind, with more love and affection, than you could ever wish to find.

He gave my darling husband, a heart of solid gold, he gave me wonderful memories, only my heart can hold.

He was someone I could talk to, that no one can replace, he was someone I could laugh with until tears ran down my face.

Next time we meet, we will be at Heavens door, when I see you standing there, I promise I won’t cry anymore.

I will put my arms around you, and kiss your smiling face, then the pieces of my broken heart will fall back into place.

I will miss you so much, this is only goodbye for now, I love you Micah John Christopher Petterson, Kisses XXOO

Three words that sum up the life- forgiving, loyalty, loving

Love, Tammi
