Terry D. Lloyd - Class of 2001

Terry D. Lloyd passed away peacefully at home April 5th 2018. Terry was born to Lynn and Darla Lloyd, making an unexpected arrival with his twin brother Trent, December 6th, 1982. He was raised in Dingle, Idaho where he grew up on a farm, gaining his love for the outdoors. Terry had an eye for gardening and design, he enjoyed volunteering his time with decorating and styling various friends and family events. He enjoyed flowers and putting numerous arrangements together.

 Terry graduated from Bear Lake High School in 2001 and went on to attend college at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah graduating from surgical assisting in 2005. Upon graduating he accepted a job working at University of Utah Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Hospital. It was there he developed his passion for helping others and touching many lives. He gained a friendship with numerous co-workers and doctors working endless hours with them. He ended up creating a special friendship with Dr. Jason Hunt, working side-by-side with him for the next eight years. In 2014 Terry transferred to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah working on the Open Heart Trauma/Surgical Team. There he touched many lives and created a friendship with all those he came in contact with. In 2016 Terry relocated back to Bear Lake making up lost time with his family especially his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. In 2017 Terry started college again at Salt Lake Community College to carry on his passion with helping others with a direction in mortuary science.

 Terry was loved by many and accomplished so much in his 35 years on Earth. He was always seen with a contagious smile on his face and a positive attitude. Survived by his parents Lynn and Darla Lloyd, 4 brothers Todd, Tony (Leslie), Troy (Laurie), twin brother Trent, Grandma Fern Lloyd, and his four legged Boston Terrier, Roxy, who never left his side. He was a fun uncle and is survived by his nieces and nephews as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Elliott Sparks, Grandma Mona Sparks, Grandpa Doyle Lloyd, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services are under the direction of Schwab-Matthews Mortuary in Montpelier, Idaho. A viewing will be held Thursday April 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Dingle LDS Church. Viewing will also take place Friday April 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., with Services starting at 12:00 noon in the Dingle LDS Chapel. Burial will take place in the Dingle Idaho Cemetery.

 The family wishes to thank those many friends and families for their prayers, cards, meals, and support through this unexpected and difficult time.
