Wallace Shirley Brown was born May 23, 1896 in Montpelier, the son of David Cook and Altine Whitlock Brown. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1917. He served in the US military. He married Emma Lorene Balls October 20, 1920 in Salt Lake City. He died December 2, 1965 and was buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs, Idaho.
