Alnora Lydia Simmons (King) - Class of 1926

Alnora ''Nonie" Lydia Simmons King, 88, of Logan, died Nov. 22, 1993 at Sunshine Terrace in Logan. She was born Oct. 30, 1905 in Liberty, the daughter of James William and Mary Ellen Hymas Simmons. She was a member of the Montpelier High School class of 1926, however she did not graduate. She married Anil Hayes King on Oct. 1, 1924 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Survivors include her husband, Anil, Logan; three daughters and one son and their spouses: Mrs. Robert (Gwen) Brown, Montpelier; Mrs. Mark (Marjorie) Norris, Logan; Mrs. Leonard (Connie) Mouritsen, Darby, Mt.; Dale and Laura King; Provo, Ut, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; a brother, George Simmons, Bountiful, Ut., and a sister Emma Andrus. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, LaMont King. Funeral services were held on Saturday at noon in the Allen-Hall Mortuary chapel, Logan. Interment was in the Logan City Cemetery.
