Acel William Herzog, age 78, passed away Nov. 7, 1983 at his home in Geneva He was born Sept. 22. 1905 at Geneva to Ephriam and Rose Teuscher Herzog. He was a member of the Montpelier High School class of 1926, however he did not graduate. He married Ruhy Petersen March 21, 1950 in the Logan LDS Temple. He lived in Geneva all of his life where he was a rancher and sheep man. He was an active member of the LDS Church and held many offices in the church, including Seventies leader, home teacher, Sunday School teacher, and Elders Quorum President. He was an avid fisherman and loved the sport. He was a great dancer and never missed a dance activity. Survivors include widow, Ruby, Geneva; one brother, Joe Herzog, Toole, Utah. Funeral services will be held Friday in the Geneva LDS Ward Chapel at I p.m. Friends may call at the Church at Geneva from 11:30 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in the Geneva Cemetery with services under the direction of Matthews Mortuary.
