Karma Swett - Class of 1992

Karma Swett  was born in Landsthul, Germany on March 13, 1974 to Virginia and Otto Swett. She passed away peacefully in her home in Pocatello, Idaho in February 2018.  She graduated from Bear Lake High School in 1992, receiving a letter in Track, Citizenship Award, and Scholarships to Idaho State University. She served an honorable mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Minnesota, Minneapolis Mission.  She graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education with a Minor in Special Education.  She has taught at Jefferson Elementary for the last 20 years as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher.  She has served in various Stake and Ward church callings, and at times she had multiple simultaneous callings.  She served her community with love and caring. She served honorably and faithfully and was loved by all she served. She is survived by her mother Virginia Swett, sister Paula Swett, nephew Trenten Swett, several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her father Otto Swett and grandparents Thomas and Venna Swett and Willard and Ruth Thornock, and Edna Thornock.

She was dearly loved and will be missed by so many that knew and loved her.

The family wishes to thank all that have expressed love and concern at this time.
