Leslie Allen “Chief” Hayes was born in Missoula, Montana on September 10, 1964, and adopted by Parley Ennis and Gail (Thompson) Hayes. when he was 2 days old. He was lovingly raised by his parents along with a younger sister, Marie. Allen attended school in many places as his family moved around while his Dad was in the Air Force. After retirement they settled in Georgetown, Idaho. Allen graduated from Bear Lake High School in 1983. After graduating, he went to work at Monsanto as a heavy equipment operator.

Allen was well liked and had many friends. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and getting on his Harley and going for a cruise. Also going to breakfast on Sunday mornings with his friends. He even got to check off a bucket list by going to a Raiders game in Vegas. He was a diehard Raiders fan.

Allen fought a courageous battle with his illness, and now reunited with his Dad, sister and many friends. He died in Brigham City, Utah on July 3, 2026

Allen is survived by his Mother, Gail Hayes, niece, Kristen Hayes, and his son.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Parley E. Hayes, sister, Marie Hayes, and Grandparents, Leslie & Maxine Hayes, and Lewis & Hortense & (Laura) Thompson.
