Word was received in Jerome of the untimely death of William Seward Davis. His demise followed an operation for a tumor on his gall bladder. He was born October 24, 1897 the son of David William and Ada May Williams Davis. He was a member of the Montpelier High School class of 1917, however he did not graduate. He served in the US military during WWI. He married Ruth Gerboth April 3, 1923 in Jerome, Idaho. He died as a result of the surgery March 11, 1930 and was buried in the Jerome Cemetery.
