Roger Peterson - Class of 1975

Roger McKay Peterson returned to his Heavenly Father on May 2, 2019.

Born Februry 11, 1957, Roger is the son of Lynn and Connie Peterson of St.Charles Idaho. He attended Emerson Elementary, Bear Lake Jr. High, and Bear Lake High School graduating in 1975. He had a wonderful childhood full of great friends, hunting and fishing. After high school he went to work for Becker’s in Soda Spring. Roger was excited when he received the opportunity to move to Arizona and the warmer weather. He first lived in Sedona then moved to Cottonwood then end in Glendale. 

After being a Maytag appliance salesman for many years Roger decided to be a truck driver. He loves the occupation and seeing the sights across the country. 

Roger loved his many beautiful dogs, his motorcycle, working, socializing, and let’s not forget the Green Bay Packers.  He enjoyed the Arizona weather and swimming in his pool. 

He is survived by his parents Lynn and Connie Peterson, sisters Karen Murrey and Robyn (Rulon) Smith, and many nieces and nephews. 

Roger is preceded in death by Michael Murrey Junior, Kara Lynn Murrey, and Milly Jill Smith. 

There will be a graveside service Wednesday the eighth at noon at the Saint Charles cemetery.
