In Memory

Steven Wuthrich - Class of 1972

April 20, 1954 - June 18, 2024

Steven Allen Wuthrich was adopted by Donald and Ellen Wuthrich in Montpelier, Idaho. He was an only child that rose from humble beginnings to a first-generation graduate in law school, to serving the community for over 40 years as a defense attorney and General Prosecutor.

With family in hand, he graduated top of his class from University of Idaho, in Moscow. He served with law firms in Boise, Idaho, and with Gayle Hunt in Salt Lake City, Utah. He started his successful private practice in Montpelier, Idaho for over a decade. He has practiced law in the Attorney General's office in Salt Lake City. He served 40 years of law in both state and federal courts, bankruptcy and appeal courts, criminal and civil trials.

Through his work ethic he had time to be an attentive father, supporting his children through college. He enjoyed camping, off-roading, and playing with his dog. The world is not the same without his guidance and protection.

He is survived by his wife Stephany Ann Wuthrich and their children: Cinnamon, Abbey, Sean, and Krisann. He also leaves his close cousins Ryan and Terry Wuthrich.

A viewing will be held at Jenkins-Soffe in Murray, Friday July 5, 9:00 am and 10:00 am memorial service.
