In Memory

Mary Carol Ansell (Franks) - Class of 1943

Our beautiful mother, Mary Carol, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015. She was born in Montpelier, Idaho September 25, 1924 to William and Mabel Ansell.

After graduating from high school, she moved to Salt Lake City where she worked at Fort Douglas. There she met a handsome young soldier, Norman Franks. Soon they were married and moved to Merced, California where their son, Dennis (Anna) was born. Later they moved to Ogden, Utah, where their daughters, Debra (Ron,) Julie (Ben), and Jan (Dan) were born.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman; her parents and three sisters, Emma Hope, Eva Hannah, Gloria; and a grandson, Andrew Comer. She is survived by her children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carol was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1954. She spent many hours teaching people about the beautiful paradise to come. She knew that soon there would be no more sickness, pain and death. Mom is resting now waiting for the call from her heavenly Father to the paradise on earth. Then she will be reunited with her family.

We would like to express our thanks to the Mount Ogden Health and Rehabilitation Center for their support and care for our dear mother. Also, we thank hospice at the McKay Dee Hospital for their support and attention to the needs of Carol.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 4 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 1950 W 4400 South, Roy, Utah.
