Sheryl Orr (Cronquist) - Class of 1969

Sheryl Orr Cronquist Dec 15, 1950 - Jan 5, 2019 Dear Sheryl, I used our June 23, 1973, Ogden Temple wedding announcement picture for your obituary. I think this is how we will see each other the next time we meet. Tell your brothers, Kenneth and Larry Orr, "Hell-o" along with your mom, Josephine Lewis Orr, and your dad Vyrin King Orr. Your brother LaRoy Orr and sisters Edith and Elene seem to be doing fine. You were born on your dad's birthday in Montpelier, Idaho. You grew up in Paris, Idaho, attending Fielding school and graduating from Bear Lake High School in Montpelier, Idaho. You worked in Salt Lake before getting accepted in Weber State College in Ogden, Utah. You enrolled in their school of nursing. You were always proud of the training you got to be a licensed practical nurse. After two years of visiting with and doing things with Kelly Cronquist, the two of you got married. Your home was in Paradise, Utah. You raised two daughters Amanda and Tara. Tara is doing a good job raising her boy, Austin. They live in Logan. Amanda is living and working in Florida. You served two missions to South Dakota with Kelly. One was the Minneconjou, Lakota, Cheyenne River Reservation. The other mission was on the Oglalla, Lakota, Pine Ridge Reservation. You organized the music and taught Primary. The kids would get you to dance at the powwow's we went to. There were ladies on both reservations that watched out for you. Health problems caught up with you. Rocky Mountain Care has been your home in Logan these past five years. That is where you passed away. I love you, Sheryl. The next time we meet, let's both of us go check the cows. Kelly PS: Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cache Valley Mortuary. There will be a viewing in the Paradise South LDS Church house, 155 E. 9400 South, Paradise, Utah, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019.
