Rachel Hill Weaver Hayes, of Georgetown; died at a local hospital Thursday, June 2, 1927 following a critical operation.performed the same day. Mrs. Hayes was.a young woman, the adopted daughter of Franklin Edward Weaver and Christianna Graham Weaver of Bennington. She was born Octobei 21, 1902, at Castle Dale, Utah. She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1922. She married Joseph Smith Hayes June 10, 1924 in Logan, Utah. She is survived by her husband, three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held in. the Georgetown chapel Sunday at 11 a.m. Bishop John M. Bee presided and the invocation was offered by J. P. Ipsen of Bennington. Speakers were W. E. Clark, Wm. E. Morgan, Bishop G. E. Hulme of Bennington and Pres. Silas L. Wright. The benediction was by Grandfather Alma H. Hayes.
