Earl Albert Linder was born in Montpelier October 7, 1923 the son of Joseph Albert and Myra Marie Nordyke-Phelps Linder.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1942.  He served in the US Army.  He married Doris Grace Thorsen.  He died December 30, 1985 in Vancouver, Washington.
