Effie Thompson was born July 29, 1919 the daughter of Franklin Lorenzo and Elizabeth Emma Beck Thompson.  She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1937.  She married Armond Windley.  They were later divorced.  She married Lorin Christ Hoopes November 3, 1947.  She died July 15, 1993.
