Maxine Ashley Johnson, 50, died of a heart attack on July 8, 1969 at Seaside, California, Mrs. Johnson was born on September 8, 1918 in Paris, the daughter of the late Albert John Ashley and Bessie Jenkins Hoskin Ashley. She graduated from Montpelier High School  in 1937.  She married Glenn Hall Johnson May 21, 1936 in Paris. She is survived by four children, Jeannette, Luella, Glen Ashley Johnson, and Juan Albert Ashley; her mother of Montpelier, and the following brothers and sisters, Russell Ashley of Salt Lake City, Ben Ashley of Soda Springs, Keith Ashley, Mrs. Sylvester (Nathel) Busco, Mrs. Lawrence (ElDean) Roberts, and Mrs. Roy (Edith) Stevens, all of Montpelier, and Mrs. Joan Hanner of Esparto, California, and 18 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at Seaside with burial in Seaside cemetery.
