Helen May Hutchings, age 77, passed away January 10, 1990 at her home in Salt Lake City.

She was born November 27, 1912 in Logan, Utah; to George and Ada Viola Walton Quinney. She married Charles Edward Hutchings, June 17, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he passed away February 18, 1974. She was a very active member of the LDS Church, served as relief society, primary president and stake sunday school secretary.Survived by her children, Edward Kent and wife Judith M., Lewis B. (Elizabeth JoAnn) Allen, Chester Kirk and wife Judy, all of Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, DeAnn Morgan, Idaho Falls and Gail Muir, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1 p.m. at the Salt Lake Millcreek 3rd LDS Ward, 606 East 3900 So. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estate Mortuary 5850 So. 900 East and Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Burial Mountain View Memorial Estates.
