Lowell Aland - Class of 1932

Lowell Orchard Aland, 70, died September 2, 1980 in the hospital in Ogden. He was a resident of Montpelier, moving then to Clearfield. He was born in Randolph, Utah June 23, 1910, the son of John Albert and Mary Jane Smith Aland. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1932. He married Isabelle Crane July 1, 1936 in Bennington and the marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He is survived by his wife; two daughers, Mrs. Michael (Beverly) Wagreich, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. James (Mary Ann) Davenport, Montpelier; four grandchildren; two brothers, Leland, Seal Beach, Calif., and Kenneth, Buhl. He was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 11, 1980 at the Montpelier First through Fourth Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Montpelier City Cemetery.
