Ella Vivian Murphy Dunn, 83, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 1983 in Linwood, Calif. She was the daughter of George David George and Edith Rosamond Langford Murphy, born August 24, 1900 on their ranch in Pegram. She was the third child in a family of nine. She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1919.  Being very musically inclined, as was all her family, she played cello, banjo and ukelele in a dance band in the 1920s and sang with her sisters Eva and Jennie in a trio. At the age of 26 she moved to California where she met her husband Everett Baird Dunn. They were married in Montpelier, Sept. 25, 1927. On December 10, 1980 their marriage was solemnized in the LDS Temple. Ella is survived by her husband of 56 years, two children, a sister Jennie Roberts, 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Interment was in Whittier, California.
