Lewis Dayton - Class of 1923

Lewis "Luke" Moroni Dayton, 80, died Monday, March 24, 1986 at his home in Raymond, Idaho.  He was born September 15, 1905 at Dingle, Idaho to George Francis and Lillian Gertrude Lewis Dayton.  He married Lauretta Lucile Murphy September 12, 1925 at Soda Springs, Idaho.  The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple June 18, 1958.  He was an active member of the LDS Church and held many positions during his lifetime including teacher in MIA and Gospel Doctrine and served as a Montpelier Stake Missionary from 1956-57.  He is survived by two sisters, two daughters and one son.   Funeral services were held in the Geneva Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Cokeville Cemetery.
