Doris Adams (Bauman) - Class of 1962

Doris Marie Adams Bauman, 52 passed away Wednesday January 29, 1997 at the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital of cancer.

She was born September 23, 1944 in Montpelier to Vincent De Maine Adams and Edith Hayes Adams. She attended school in Montpelier, Idaho.

Doris married Allan Bruce Bauman on June 17, 1961 in Montpelier, and the marriage was solemnized in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple on April 5, 1962. 

She had lived in Geneva working on the ranch alongside Bruce. She was an active member of the Geneva LDS Ward where she held many positions, with just recently being released as historian when her health failed.

Doris was a very caring person, always putting her family and friends first. She worked for several years at Tri-State Inc.

Doris is survived by her husband, Allan Bruce of Geneva, a daughter, Kathleen (Robert) of Montpelier, two sons, Rex (Becky), of Geneva, and Brandon (fiancee' Stacy) of Logan, Utah, two grandchildren, Kayla of Montpelier and Brayden; a stepfather, Lawrence King of Montpelier; four sisters, Thelma Kinyon of Redmond, Oregon, Cecelia Gittens of Great Falls, Montana, Nancy Wilkes of Preston, Idaho, Alpha Jean House of Idaho Falls, Idaho, a sister-in-law Susan Adams of Great Falls, Montana; and her mother-in-law, Gwendolyn Kathryn Bauman of Montpelier.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Jack and Bill, and sister, Ruth Thornock and father-in-law Woodruff Willard Bauman.

Funeral services will be held Saturday Feb 1,1997 at 1 pm in the Geneva LDS Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Geneva Cemetery.
