Dale Minnig - Class of 1957

Dale Fred Minnig died March 12, 1998 at his home in Pleasant Grove, Ut. He was born August 19, 1939 in Montpelier, Idaho the son of Fred Lorenzo and Mary Elizabeth Bischoff Minnig.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1957 and attended the University of Idaho at Moscow.  He married Susanne Raye Stubbs on August 6, 1997 in Provo, Utah.  He worked as an accountant and was in high level management positions for several large companies, having worked in Idaho, Arkansas, Texas, Nevada and Utah. Dale's interests, aptitudes and unusual ability in the administrative career field have been well proven in his life as he climbed the corporate ladder of success. He retired in 1993 but continued as a consultant and had purchased the LaCasa Supper Club in Lehi. He was actively engaged in its management until poor health forced him to stop. He spent four years in the US Air Force. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Dale is survived by his wife Suzanne of Pleasant Grove; a sister, Lois and Dean Peterson of Bloomington; a sister-in-law, Mary Minnig of Phoenix, Az.; three step-children, Bryan Stubbs, Cody Stubbs and Sharina Crandall, all of the Utah Valley area; one nephew, Jeffrey and Holly Minnig, and four nieces, Stephanie and Charles Whetstine, Linda and Jack Wilson, Rosa Marie Ortega and Norma Jean Peterson; two aunts, Annie Bischoff Boss and Rita Cornelison. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Grant William and Darrell Ray. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 17 in the Matthews Mortuary Chapel in Montpelier. Burial will be in the Nounan Cemetery.
