Lyle Clinton "Mickey" Stephens Jr., 24, died Christmas Day, December 25, 1959 at a Logan hospital of acute leukemia.  He was born July 19, 1935 at Soda Springs, Idaho the son of Lyle and Stella Roderick Stephens.  He lived in Montpelier on the family ranch until 21 years of age.  He attended Montpelier schools.  He received a call from the LDS Church to fill a mission to the Central Atlantic States on November 7, 1956 and was released December 5, 1958.  Since completing his mission he had resided in Logan where he was a student at Utah State University.  Besides his parents he is survived by a sister and a brother.  Services were held in the Montpelier Second Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
