Blaine Brown - Class of 1933

Charles "Suge" Blaine Brown, 69, died June 1, 1984 in a Logan, Utah hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 1914, in Montpelier to Fergus and Laura Mae Holmes Brown. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1933. He married Ella Belle Perkins Aug. 16, 1937, in Randolph, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He worked most of his life as a cabinet maker and contractor. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardner. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include his wife, Montpelier; a son, Michael, McCall; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; five sisters, Mrs. Mildred Baker, Visalia, Calif.; Mrs. Myrtle Trapier, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ted (Betty) Anderson. Talent, Ore.; Mrs. Ransom (Maxine) Cutler, Montpelier; Mrs. Dorothy Johnson, Florida; two brothers, Dayle, Montpelier; and Cecil, Glendale, Calif. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray. Cremation was performed at Aultorest Memorial Chapel in Ogden, Utah. A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 5 at Matthews Mortuary Chapel in Montpelier.
