Glademere Ewalt Mumford, 40, died Sunday evening, September 29, 1957, in Portland. Oregon. He was born in Montpelier on December 11, 1916, the son of Byron Edward and Lenora Wright Butterworth Mumford. He was a graduate of the Montpelier High School, class of 1935, and attended the Vocational School in Weiser for two years. He served for two years in the United States Army, most of which time was spent in Korea. His survivors include one daughter, Diana Sue Mumford: two sons, Gary Niel and Michael Dean Mumford; his parents; a brother. Verl I. Mumford. all of Montpelier; one sister. Mrs. Max B. (Theo) Holbrook, and another brother, B. Vadier Mumford, both of Portland; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. William Byram of Rigby. Services were conducted today (Thursday, October 3, 1957) in the Montpelier Second Ward L. D. S Chapel, and interment was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
