Lawrence Larsen - Class of 1938

Lawrence John Larsen was born May 16, 1920 the son of John Lawrence and Pauline Severn Larsen.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1938.  He died July 30, 1964 and was buried in the Montpelier Cemetery.

Funeral services for Lawrence J. Larsen were held at 1 p. m., Saturday In the Matthews Mortuary chapel, with Counselor Rex Williamson conducting. The Invocation was by Cowley Jacobson; Max Haddock sang "Hold Thou My Hand," followed by speakers, Bishop Val Rich and Wilford KowaIlls; vocal solo. "The Lord's Prayer," Mrs. Waldo Andersen; benediction, J. A. Burgoyne. Interment was In the Montpelier City Cemetery and the dedicatory prayer was given by Albert Kowallis. Pallbearers were Sherman Burgoyne, Ross Clark, Earl Wilcox. Richard Rowland, Glenn Smith and Dayle Brown. Mr. Larsen was born May 16, 1920 In Montpelier, the son of John Lawrence and Pauline Severn Larsen. He attended Montpelier schools. participated In athletics, and was employed about ten years by the Union Pacific Railroad, and later by the City of Montpelier. He married Ruby Hymas on October 13. 1942. They were divorced in August, 1963. He was a member of the LDS Church.
