Owen Carlyle Bartschi was born February 8, 1924, the son of Ernest and Mae Aegerter Bartschi. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1942. He married Helen Duane Phillips June 19, 1946 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  He died June 1, 1986 and was buried in the Montpelier Cemetery.
