Nola Parker (Peterson) - Class of 1938

Nola Parker Peterson, 92, our mother, grandmother and loved one, passed away on April 6, 2012, of natural causes due to age in Cedar City, Utah. She was born on January 23, 1920, in Wardboro, Idaho, to Henry George Parker and Jemima Alsop.

Nola married Eldon LaMont Peterson on October 25, 1939, in the LDS Salt Lake Temple and is survived by three sons and two daughters, Roger (Carolyn) Peterson of Spokane, Washington, Kent (Linda) Peterson of Coulee Dam, Washington, Robert( Julie) Peterson of Nampa, Idaho, Rosemarie (Michael) Stoker of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Michele( David) Woods of Cedar City, Utah; along with 26 wonderful grandchildren, 54 precious great-grandchildren; brother, Chester (Ann) Parker of Jerome, Idaho; and sister, Shirley Johnson of Ovid, Idaho. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eldon LaMont Peterson, son, Terry Ray Peterson, grandson, Darin Peterson and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at the LDS Bern Chapel in Bern, Idaho, on April 14, 2012, at 2 p.m. The viewing will be held at 1 p.m. just prior to the services. Interment will be in the Ovid, Idaho, Cemetery
