Elsie Collipriest - Class of 1925

Elsie Mae Collipriest, 57, well known retired business woman, died December 10, 1964 in the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital following a heart attack suffered a few days previously. The daughter of Henry and Elsie Gordon Collipriest, she was born February 24, 1907 in Kemmerer. Shortly after the Collipriest family moved to Montpelier where Miss Collipriest attended school and had since resided, graduating from Montplelier High School in 1925. Miss Collipriest was associated with her sister, Mrs. Margaret Peterson in the Confectionery business known as the Kozy Korner, which they operated for 30 years, retiring in 1961. She was baptized an Episcopalean and was a member of the Community Church. She belonged to Montpelier Betsy Ross Chapter No 17, Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her sister, Mrs Margaret Ann Peterson, and two brothers, George W. Collipriest and Richard L Collipriest, all of Montpelier. Services were held at 11 a m. Monday, in the Community Presbyterian Church with the Reverend John Shellenberger officiating. Vocal selections were "The Lord is My Shepherd", by a trio comprised of Mrs. James Tasso, Mrs. Waldo Andersen and Mrs. Glenn Barnson; and "The Lord's Prayer", by Mrs. Anderson.
