Verda Van Orman Smith, 95, passed away May 11, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born July 25, 1904 in Bennington, Idaho to Abraham Charles and Tennie Ipsen Van Orman. Married Clifford Smith; later divorced.

Survived by son, Roger (Beverly) Smith, Mesa, AZ; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Mon, May 15, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at Mt. View 1st Ward Chapel, 3200 W 8900 S. Family and friends may call on Sun, May 14, 2000 from 6-8 p.m. at Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Dr. and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.

Interment, Montpelier, Bear Lake County, Idaho.
