Alfonzo Grant Berrey was born December 17, 1903 in Montpelier, the son of John Henry Berrey and  Phebe Rosultha Wilcox. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1923. He married Ruby Alta Calder May 30, 1928 in Logan, Utah. He died March 13, 1992 in Idaho Falls. Burial was in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls.
