Eugene Bird - Class of 1918

Eugene Arris Bird was born in Paris, Idaho May 20, 1901 the son of George Albert Smith and Harriet George Bird. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1918. He served in the military. He married Jewel Rogers  in October, 1929.  He died May 22, 1965 and was buried in Memory Gardens in Edna, Texas.

This information and tribute was provided in May 2015 by his sister Ione Bird Morrison of Madison, Wisconsin: Eugene Bird graduated from Montpelier High School in 1918.  His productive career as an electrical engineer had its beginning during those formative and propitious school days, days he remembered with gratitude and appreciation until his untimely death in 1965.
