Edward Sutter - Class of 1938

Edward Richard Sutter, 51, died January 31, 1971 at the Veteran's Hospital in Salt Lake City after a short illness. He was born on October 2, 1919 in Montpelier, the son of Rudolph and Lena Werren Sutter. He graduated from Montpelier High School where he attained recognition as an outstanding athlete. Shortly after graduation he enlisted in the service and served during World War II in Burma from 1941 to1944. For some years he was engaged in masonry, mostly in Salt Lake City and vicinity. He was divorced. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by two sisters. Funeral services were held at the Matthews Mortuary Chapel.
