Lowell P. Kunz, 53, a native of Bern died Saturday, June, 1970.  He was born on August 7, 1916, the son of Alma and Vivian Pope Kunz.  He graduated from Montpelier High School and attended Idaho State University.  He was employed as a switchman for the Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years.  Lowell married LaVerne Roubidoux on February 18. 1940 in Boise.  He was a member of the LDS Church and BPO Elks Lodge No. 674 serving as Exalted Ruler in 1969-70.  He is survived by his wife, a son, a daughter and three grandchildren.  Funeral services were held in Pocatello.
