Lewis Robison - Class of 1969

Lewis Eugene Robison, 31, died Sunday, November 14, 1982 in a hunting accident.  He was born April 11, 1951 at Montpelier to Milton Bryant and Joyce Marie Wilde Robison.  He graduated from Bear Lake High School in 1969.  He graduated from Idaho State University Vo-Tech school as a diesel mechanic in 1971.  In May 27,1972 he married Carol Marie Tye at Bennington.  He worked many years for J.R. Simplot at Conda where as shop foreman he supervised the construction of the first 2300 ton P an H electric torque shovel in Idaho.  He then was employed by Harnischfeger to build the first electric torque shovel 2300 XP duel propelled air cooled with static drive in the nation.  He was the first in the country to erect the shovel and erected one in Cypres Mine in Challis.  He is survived by his parents, his wife, one daughter and two sons.  Funeral services were held in the Bennington Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Bennington Cemetery.
