Sherry Lynne Nield Holton passed away February 15, 2007 in the Pike Community Hospital in Waverly, Ohio following a brief illness.  She was the first child born to Max and Marian Nield June 22, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She attended school in Montpelier and graduated from Bear Lake High School.  She then attended beauty school in Logan.  She joined the US Army in 1972 where she met and married her husband, Dale Holton who is retired from the Navy.   She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Teresa and maternal grandmother.  She is survived by her husband along with a daughter and two grandsons.  Sherry was a member of the LDS Church and funeral services were held in an LDS Chapel.   Burial was in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio.
