Raymond Russell Switzer, 55, passed away suddenly on July 14, 2009 in Auburn, California where he lived.  "Rusty" as he was known, was born on February 18, 1954 in Winnemucca, Nevada to Betty Lou Tueller Sparks of Dingle and Merl Gordon Switzer of Auburn, California.  Rusty attended schools in Salt Lake City, Kamas, Utah and graduated from Bear Lake High School in 1973.  After graduation he attended an electronics school in Arizona.  He enlisted in the US Marines in 1974.  After his release from the service in 1978 he worked in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah Hospital and did roofing and retail sales in Montpelier and has worked and lived in Auburn, California for the past nine years.  He was a member of the LDS Church.  He loved being outdoors and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, basketball and baseball with friends and family.  Rusty is survived by his mother and step-father along with two brothers and one sister.  Memorial services were held in the Dingle Ward Chapel.  Interment will be in the Dingle Cemetery.
