In Memory

Miles Lloyd - Class of 2007

Miles Anthony Lloyd, 17, returned home to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 16, 2007, at Bloomington, Idaho. As a child, Miles was content to entertain himself - just thinking and enjoying life. He was a very happy and loving child, always smiling. Miles was a quiet and reserved young man with a big heart and a brilliant mind. He graduated from Bear Lake High School in May of 2007, at age 16. He loved his teachers, principal and fellow students.

The Navy was a love of Miles, and he had just recently enlisted in the Navy - wanting to do his part, and was proud to serve as his older brother, Mikell, is doing. Miles loved his family, and was eager and willing to help them, and anyone else that needed his help. He loved martial arts and was very dedicated to his training. Miles was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Miles is survived by his father, Clinton T. Lloyd of Georgetown, Idaho; his mother, Kristie and stepfather, Kelly Stumpp of Montpelier; his siblings, Mikell and Christy in the U.S. Navy, Mark, Keldon and Ashley, all of Montpelier; and numerous aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 25, at 3 p.m. in the Montpelier, Idaho Stake Center, with Bishop Frank Lloyd conducting. The family of Miles will meet with friends and family on Fridayevening, Aug. 24, at Matthews Mortuary from 7 until 9 p.m., and on Saturday at the church from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. The interment will be in the Montpelier Cemetery.

A special thanks from Miles' family to the many wonderful people of so many entities, who worked and gave of so much time and love in recovery of Miles' body from Bloomington Lake.

A special thanks to Gene Ralston, his wife, and his equipment. You are all so wonderful.
