Nannette Nield (Hayes) - Class of 1982

Nannette Nield Hayes, 48, of Soda Springs passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013 at the Portneuf Medical Center.

Nannette was born on Nov. 5, 1964 in Montpelier, Idaho the daughter of Max LaMar and Marian Kay Bunderson Nield.

She was raised in the Bear Lake Valley and graduated from Bear Lake High School.  She has lived the past 17 years in Soda Springs.

Nannette married  Terry Lee Larkins on June 27, 1987 in Montpelier. They had two children James Rowdy and Misty Dawn. They were later divorced.

She married Rustin Rex Hayes on March 28, 1997 in Soda Springs.  They were later divorced.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Nannette was a certified Nursing Assistant and had worked as an aid at the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital for several years before moving and at Spring Creek Manor in Soda Springs where she had been promoted to Administrator.  She enjoyed working there and had bonded with and greatly appreciated her co-workers and the residents.  She also had worked as secretary at R & R Transport from 1997 to 2010.

She enjoyed volleyball, camping, scrapbooking, dancing, gardening and boating.  She especially loved her friends and family and being a mother.  She was always an active hard working lady.

She is survived by a son, James Rowdy Larkins of Soda Springs and a daughter Misty Dawn Larkins of Pocatello and five grandchildren.  She is also survived by mother, Marian Nield of Montpelier and two brothers, Max James (Eve) Nield of Richmond,Utah, David LaMar Nield of Layton, Utah and three sisters Cindy (Rocky) Michaelson of Ohio, Kathy Culp of Twin Falls and Annette Micheal of Montpelier.  She was preceded in death by her father Max Nield, two sisters, Sherry Holton and Teresa Nield, a grandson Drew, a sister-in-law Beverly Nield and her first husband Terry Lee Larkins.

Services were held on Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Bailey Creek LDS Chapel in Soda Springs.  Burial was at the Montpelier Cemetery.
