Robert Cook - Class of 1976

Robert Lee Cook, 56,   passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 in Bear Lake County, Idaho.

Robert was born Feb. 17, 1958 to Donald Blair and Berta Maria Markwan Cook in Montpelier. He was the 2nd of three boys.  He attended Bear Lake High School. He worked for Beker Industries in Conda, Idaho from 1976 until 1985, when he lost his right arm in an industrial accident.  Robert started working for the US Forest Service Montpelier District in and was currently employed with them.

Robert married Laurie Larsen (Harrison) and was blessed with three wonderful children, James, Ramona and Miles. They were later divorced.

Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, horses, cooking, being outdoors and spending time with his kids.

Robert is survived by a son, James (Rita) Cook of Paris, a daughter, Ramona (Courtney) Allred of Montpelier, a son, Miles (McKenzie) Cook of Georgetown, eight grandchildren: Braydon, Garrett, Ty, Dacie Marie, Courtland, Coy, Carver and Rhen, his parents, Blair & Betty Cook of Montpelier, a brother, Karl Cook of Montpelier, and a brother, Keven (Cindy) Cook of Montpelier.

Funeral services was held at 12:00 p.m.   on Friday, Sept. 20, 2014 at the LDS 2nd ward in Montpelier, Interment was in the Montpelier cemetery.
