Kristi Smith (Williamson) - Class of 1974

Kristi Smith Williamson, 50, passed away Feb. 9, 2007, at South Davis Community Hospital in Bountiful, Utah. She was born July 1, 1956, in Soda Springs, to Leland Smith and Florene DuVall, the second of nine children. She attended Bear Lake High School in Montpelier and graduated in 1974. She then worked as a receptionist in two dental offices in Montpelier.

She married Bruce P. Williamson Sept. 4, 1974. They had one son together, Beau. They were later divorced.

Kristi moved to Salt Lake in 1984, where she worked in the dental field for the next 19 years. She made many friends working for Dr. Bruce Crowther, and considered them to be a second family. Kristi resided in Park City with her longtime love, Bruce (Pete) Booher, until her hospitalization in 2004.

Pete stood faithfully by her side throughout her hospitalization. Kristi loved spending time with Pete, and her son's family, especially her granddaughters.

Kristi is survived by her loving companion, Bruce (Pete) Booher; her son and daughter-inlaw, Beau and Ronni Williamson of Montpelier, and granddaughters, Harli Faith and Kayli Jade; her father, Leland Smith of Georgetown; and her siblings, Bryan Smith of Shelbyville, Ky., Stacy Smith of Butte, Mont., Cindy Coates (Jeff) of Sandy, Utah, Stan Smith (Roberta) of Murray, Utah, David Smith (Odessa) of Georgetown, Idaho, Ginger Bash (Brian) of Germantown, Md., Ronda Lutz of Chubbuck, Idaho; and 22 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence, her brother, Mitchell, and her nephew, Patrick.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at noon at the Georgetown LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, Feb. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Matthews Mortuary, 702 Clay Street, Montpelier, Idaho. There will also be a viewing on Wednesday morning from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral at the Georgetown chapel. Interment will be in the Georgetown Cemetery.
