Donna Le Kunz (Sorenson Wallentine) - Class of 1948

Donna Le Kunz Sorenson Wallentine passed away April 30, 2013, at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital surrounded by loved ones.

She was born February 16, 1930, in Bern to Orlando and Anna Stoor Kunz.

She is survived by her brother Wendell (Verla) Kunz , Rio Rancho, NM, and 11 children: Michael (Marleine) Sorenson of Idaho Falls, Nancy (Larry) Scanlan of Sandy, Myrna (Glen) Hansen of Ogden, Mary Lou (Jim) Hatch of Tetonia, Richard (Genan) Sorenson of Cordova, Alaska, Dale (Melissa) Wallentine of North Salt Lake, Dean (Elizabeth) Wallentine of Paris, Wynn Wallentine of Montpelier, Kent (Sarah) Wallentine of Paris, Boyd (Karen) Wallentine of Kemmerer, and Troy (Carla) Wallentine of West Valley, 39 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.

Donna Le was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Donald Sorenson and Cloyd Wallentine, her daughter Debra Lloyd and daughter-in-law Pamela Wallentine.

Her life was centered on her family and church. She enjoyed watching and supporting her children and grandchildren in life’s endeavors. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various positions one of which was Relief Society president for many years. She enjoyed painting, reading and several types of handwork.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, at the Paris Ward Church. A viewing will be held Sunday, May 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to the funeral from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be at the Bern Cemetery.
