Mary Eldean Messerly Machan passed away January 11, 2002 of natural causes at her home in Lynnwood, Washington.  She was born January 30, 1922 in Montpelier.  She is survived by her husband Eugene Machan, four children and 13 grandchildren.  Private memorial services will be held in Lynnwood, Washington.
