Word was received in Montpelier on Wednesday, February 15, 1955 of the death of Vera Winters Stephenson, 52, wife of Harold Stephenson of Long Beach, California.  She as born in Montpelier a daughter of  the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis M. Winters.  She is survived by her husband along with five sisters and one brother.  Funeral services were held at the Long Beach LDS Fifth Ward Chapel and interment was in the Green Hills Cemetery.
