Farrell Keetch - Class of 1946

Farrell Q. Keetch, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Keetch of Wardboro was killed by a rifle bullet while hunting deer near Geneva on the opening day of the season October 15, 1948.  He was standing by his horse which was mistaken for a deer by another hunter.  He was born November 16, 1928 in Dingle.  He attended grade school in Dingle and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1946.  He continued his schooling at Utah State Agricultural College in Logan where he majored in mechanical arts and was preparing to serve a mission for the LDS Church.  He was active in school and church activities and sports and was associated with his father in the stock business.  Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters and two brothers.  Funeral services were held in the Wardboro LDS Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Wardboro Cemetery.
