Beth Humpherys, 24, formerly of Montpelier, died suddenly Wednesday August, 1945 in a Los Angeles hospital.  She was the eldest daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Elzo Humpherys of Montpelier and was born April 2, 1921 in Paris.  She completed her training as a nurse last year at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City.  She is survived by a sister and a brother.  Relatives in Paris were awaiting information as to whether her remains would be brought to Paris for burial.
