Norman Bartschi - Class of 1940

Norman Wyler Bartschi, 30, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Nounan Monday, July, 1952.  The son of Wyler Bartschi and the late Florence Johnson Bartschi he was born at Nounan December 22, 1921.  He attended elementary school in Nounan and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1940.  He continued his education for two years at the University of Idaho in Moscow.  He followed the trade of upholsterer for several years.  He worked in a Logan, Utah shop for two years and later operated his own business in Montpelier.  For the past few years he has managed his father's ranch in Nounan.  He was active in church affairs and was an elder in the LDS Church at the time of his death and was president of the YMMIA in the Nounan Ward.  He married Margaret Chapman in the Logan LDS Temple February 14, 1945.  Besides his father he is survived by his widow and four children.  Services were held in the Montpelier Second Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
